The SteriLock™ MicroSystem is FDA cleared up to 2.5 mm and is the only approved device for sheath-free operation. Other systems can trap biohazardous fluids inside the device that cannot be removed or reprocessed in an autoclave. The SteriLock™ is the only microneedling device with a removable battery and a nosecone that can either be autoclave sterilized or intermediate disinfected.
